It’s easy to find news stories and features online on hot careers—a quick look at CNN.com’s Living section reveals plenty of facts and figures about hiring. Employment news like this is encouraging to anyone with a health care degree, but that’s not the only industry that has opportunities waiting for qualified applications.
Watching the news is helpful, especially if you’re contemplating a career employment change or going back to school to get qualified in a new area. Even if you don’t have your certifications or schooling finished, you may find plenty of local companies eager to get employment applications in critically understaffed areas.
