Get a Head Start With Marketing Executive Jobs

Posted By: Staff Editor In: Marketing & Advertising
Considering a marketing executive job path but are still in school in Philadelphia? Well, now is the time to start setting yourself up for that post-grad job!
If you’re considering a marketing executive job path but are still attending school in Philadelphia, now is the time to start setting yourself up for that post-grad executive job. While you are still in the classroom learning, try to find a part time marketing job and learn the hands-on aspects of your new career. Put an emphasis in your job hunt on the kind of marketing work you’re interested in doing for the best results, but don't hesitate to take a foot-in-the-door marketing job to put some experience on your resume.

Are you interested in working in music or media marketing? The requirements and working conditions are the same as other kinds of marketing, but the personalities and working conditions are dramatically different than you might find working as a marketer for the U.S. military or a government contractor. In the music business, try starting with part time work for a PR firm and work your way up from there. The key is to start getting marketing experience before you finish your studies. Get your foot in the door in your local market and you will build a more impressive resume for when you begin your job search after graduation.
