The Role As the Director of Market Research & Producer Intelligence, you manage a comprehensive market research and producer intelligence capability and provide information and key insights that will drive a unique, winning strategy. You will foster and advocate the use of market research to better understand the marketplace and competition. You will improve Marketing''s decision-making capabilities by using data derived from market research, and influence business strategies. Responsibilities Strategy * Uses market research and insights to effect the strategic direction of the business. * Leads and develops Center of Excellence around Producer Intelligence. Process/Problem Resolution * Establishes a framework and thought process to deliver high quality research and information, and interpret and translate findings into actionable outcomes for the business. * Develops and builds the capabilities to be viewed as a sought-after resource by senior management wholesalers and all business partners. * Establishes on-going processes to disseminate information to various levels of management. * Identifies, defines, evaluates and resolves problems within business unit or area of expertise. Market Awareness * Identifies market trends and develops forecasts. * Masters market trends and competitive research to drive strategic decision making. Relationship Management * Develops and effectively utilizes internal/external relationships to consult on specialized matters requiring cooperation and persuasion.
Reporting * Prepares research findings on a timely manner to ensure information can be effectively leveraged. * Prepares research presentations in an easy to understand manner, along with appropriate business context and potential actions based on the research.
