Business Development Manager, APJ

Business Development & Demand Generation * Business development and helping to drive "net new" and "incremental services pipeline for SAP Mobility. * Management of relationship and close collaboration with Mobility Sales, Customer Solution Adoption, Custom Development, Mobility SSEMs etc. * Orchestration of APJ Mobility Services regional growth plan. * Define and execute programs to support the development of 3X pipeline. * Identify and align partners as part of the SAP Mobility eco-system.
Deal Execution
* Identifies, pursues and closes Mobility Services opportunities through effective partnership with the Mobility Sales while providing leadership and ensuring that proper resources are involved. * Provide sales and thought leadership and support for the most critical APJ opportunities. * Support country Mobility Sales to create net new opportunities - whitespace, install base (new requirements). * Change the game (serve as a competitive differentiator) in strategic deals through solutions differentiation & thought leadership.
Thought Leadership & Sales Enablement
* Establishes a trusted advisor relationship with executives across functional/divisional areas in each account that will provide the foundations for future business opportunities and ongoing, accurate account information. * Leverage & institutionalize best practices across the region. * Leverage tools & templates for the region (Value Mart, Outside-in template, Vito letters, VLM tool). * Ensure availability of references in region (BTS, momentum stories, visitor days, videos, speakers, Customer Value Network).
* Educate and enable services sales on go-to-market tools, strategies and opportunities (CP/SAM/SSEM etc). * 10-12 years of professional experience in the IT or Telco industry; demonstrated knowledge/expertise over different aspects of technology solutions. * 3-5 years of Mobility experience with ideally 1-2 years of SAP product (or competitive) and 3 + years prior business application software or implementation experience OR minimum of 10-12 years professional experience with a demonstrated knowledge/expertise of at least one SAP enterprise solutions, customer business scenarios. * 8+ years of customer facing experience (sales/business development/consulting/pre-sales). * Management consulting experience a plus. *Understanding of SAP Ecosystem (SAP Internal, Partner, Customer). * Strong business development/management experience with at least 10+ years in the IT or Telco industry. * Proven experience and strong record in managing C-level relationships with Customers or Partners. * Demonstrated experience in being the "rainmaker" - opening doors for new business opportunities * Business strategy, business case planning and development. * Executive workshops design and facilitation * Ability to leverage and execute best practices approach. * Engaging and influencing cross-functional organizations. * Bachelor's Degree+ MBA or Masters * Fluent English a must, other languages a plus
