Take Care Health Systems, is an innovative organization that provides the American workforce with the benefits of improved wellness and preventive care. We operate on-site employee healthcare programs, clinics and fitness centers for some of the country's largest corporations and federal agencies. We are seeking a Collaborative Physician for 4 hours per week for a NEW health center located in Allentown, PA to mainly conduct oversight. Sign off on standing orders, review short term disability cases as needed, see work related injuries as needed and serve as medical resources for the staff. Provide and assure that patients receive appropriate exams, and care, as well as other medical care that is appropriate for the population. Assure the documentation as represented in the medical records meets established standards of documentation Assume a medical leadership role in the center and works cooperatively with the other members of the medical management team to assure efficient and quality health center operations. Assure that patient rights to privacy and confidentiality are strictly maintained Requirements Education and/or Experience:
Graduate of an accredited medical school; at least five years of post-residency clinical experience in an ambulatory care, or emergency room setting;
Licensed to practice medicine in the state; must be Board Certified in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine or Board Eligible in aforementioned practice areas. If Board Eligible, must take certification exam within twelve months of date of hire.
Must have current state and federal DEA certification. Must have current certification in Basic Life Support.
