A typical day as a Sales Advisor.
Expect to walk into a fun environment built on open, friendly relationships. As a sales representative for DriveTime, commonly known as our Sales Advisors, youll spend half your time on the phone, answering questions and educating qualified leads about their options. The other half will be interacting with customers in person, making them feel comfortable, working out financing and options and collaborating with co-workers. And while your ultimate responsibility is to sell cars, youll find that you accomplish this goal by providing outstanding customer service.
Heres what you WONT do:
Twist someones arm to buy a car were not into heavy-handed sales tactics. Were not into any kind of tactics.
Play games with the customer. This is a new kind of car sales where every vehicle has one honest price no haggling, no games.
So what matters most to you?
Success? Our top-performing Sales Advisors:
Are into teamwork and partnership.
Have a 4-year college degree.
Have direct client contact related sales experience in industries like retail, hospitality, wireless, call center or rent-to-own.
Have a friendly, helpful, win-win approach to things.
Respect customers and make them feel comfortable.
Car sales experience is NOT required.

Money: Its great. $31.5K base + Commission + Benefits = a real opportunity to earn $45,000 in the first year.

Experience?
We?re looking for talented and ambitious team players with these qualifications:
Bachelors degree from a 4-year college
2 to 5 years of current sales/customer service related experience in industries like retail, hospitality, wireless, or call centers
Well rounded experience including a blend of both in-person and over the phone client contact
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Thirst for career development and continuous learning
Good communication skills and listening skills, and the ability to understand and relate to people from all walks of life
Excellent PC skills
Value and embrace diversity
Valid drivers license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a drug test and a background check
